How often do we think that everything in football revolves around monetary resources? It is in fact more and more the case. However Leicester found a way of using what they had in another way, human capital and team cohesion can be a great vector of success, and not everything can be solved by money. Likewise, we see nowadays clubs that spend hunders of millions every year but fail to attain their targets, why wouldn’t it be possible in the other direction? I find this story interesting. Small improvements in different aspects add up together, which makes a big difference in the total.
This would possibly apply to many sports and services, for example, to improve the overall experience of a hotel, the tidiness, attitude of the waiter/waitress, the size, and the location, all matter. Even if it’s hard to notice the difference after improving one area, after changing every area, the general improvement might be surprising.
