Still, it tells something important about e-learning, as well as where competition will come from fairly soon. Just add Greenwich Village, and scale.
What´s the end-game in the ”Zoom-business”? It´s not Zoom. Not Microsoft Teams. Not Google Meet. It is not even Cisco Webex. They all are just wrong. So, stop thinking about all these solutions. Here is what to put the eyeballs on instead. And what will happen the upcoming years with this business.
We are living in a time when these management consultancy firms preach towards their customers: “Change, radically, because if you don´t, there is going to be trouble on the horizon. Digital power is strong and you desperately need to care. Yesterdays winners can be the losers of tomorrow”. And gosh, they are so right. But are they capable of swallowing their own medicine?
The basic idea is developed by my collegue Martin Vendel. It has been developed during a period in time when he and I did a lot of executive training in this field. We needed something to hook it all up on so to speak, and gradually he did stumble on it – and then we have developed it further. We have then used it in practical situations with lot of managers, and different industries, involved – and it do seem to fulfill its purpose.
A very common assumption is that digitalization means making things digital. We take for instance a presentation, and make it on Zoom instead.
